ICFA REDUX

My second time at the International Conference on the Fantastic In the Arts was a blast. And look at the neat dinosaur Bethany drew on my badge! Even the computer troubles I experienced did not slow me down much as I got to know several writers I had never met but whose work I admired. It was also great to see long-time friends in the industry and to have fascinating conversations with some I only recently met in the last few years. You see, writers are by nature witty and interested in many diverse subjects, which they will happily share with you. This applies to both newbies and established writers. Oh, and my conference experience was enhanced when I learned that I made some story sales. Which stories, you asked? Those will be revealed in future posts. I wouldn’t want to jump the gun on the editors or publishers who naturally want to make their own announcements.
