RIO HONDO WRITERS’ WORKSHOP 2023

The last week of September found me at Rio Hondo. That’s the awesome writers’ workshop Walter Jon Williams puts on in Northern New Mexico. Look at all these talented writers assembled in an enviable library where we read, talked, critiqued, and wrote.

Speaking of critiques, here’s how I always envision it can go when they get to my story:

That’s fine. I came away invigorated by all the neat ideas people suggested for improving my story, which is exactly what I wanted. To all my writer friends reading this, I wish you the very best of critique buddies.
